My Weekend- Sunday

Sunday was a great day
We drove to Joliet for some vintage goodies
We first stopped for treats

How cute are these watermelon desserts?

"Rosca"

Lovely drive, so smooth and pleasant

Here are a few pictures inside
"Big John's Flea Market & Antiques"

If you didn't see my last post from the November trip
to the same shop,
here it is :)

Awesome beer can

Apple then & Apple now

Cute poddle planter

Hand painted

The mirror pic :)

So many items!

We then drove off and wondered to
an interesting location where we found an abandon factory/building

Love the rusted detail of the doors

This reminds me of a contemporary art installation
What do you think?
I think it looks so cool

This does as well

Who's this handsome fella? ;)

We also walked to a frozen pond

The letter "M"

Casino time!
This casino had a great old hollywood theme

Nice

Awesome movie posters

The Mr. and I ...hehe
I was overdressed

Beautiful mural

Great pictures even in the bathroom

Lost some thrifting money

Buffet action!

Sushi.....
I can't believe I didn't take pictures of the desserts
They were so delicious

Leaving full and satisfied :)

  2. I used to have an apple II. We actually took our old box down from the attic (used for storage of other junk) and got rid of it. After well over 20 something years, it finally made it to the recycling bin.
