It's Been Too Long

Camera Skills

I really need to learn how to set my camera...

Can you notice how my pants look a different color in the pictures?

Yes, very noticeable :) 

That's why I only have two decent pictures to post because the rest looked crazy!

Anyway...I've been neglecting my brooches lately and decided to take this

Shiny Velvet

Replacing the basics has been in process for a few days now

I had a faux leather jacket, but I didn't like how it fit me, so I grabbed this

lovely light jacket while thrifting the other day

I also treated myself to these topshop boots for $20, awesome deal

since they were originally $76

Faux leather, velvet top and shiny shoes, doesn't sounds like it goes does it? :)

A New Art Beginning

Over the pass weeks my thoughts for my art and my surroundings have changed
dramatically... in a good way I sense...
I still have my sad moments of losing my baby...but it's more now like I see
the happiness, the wonder of life, how someone you never pictured in your life
can bring joy and excitement to your life...even if it was for a moment

 I feel like my mind has been cleared, like I have awaken or expanded in a way
I'm not good at writing or expressing my thoughts through words, but here's a try

For a few years now, I have painted vintage images from old photos
They were figurative, full of color, some may say "visually understanding"
I painted what I saw....

I don't feel like painting something in this form anymore
I appreciate that series, but I feel the eager of painting what I feel now...

To be honest, I never really knew how to comprehend abstract art before, I knew
that I enjoyed the compositions or colors, but deep inside I didn't really decipher what I was
seeing, feeling when I viewed the pieces, until recently when I
started writing poems again

I see my art going towards a mix of minimalist/abstract expressionist
I want to strip it all off and bring it back to the basics
I want to create pieces that evoke emotion

The pictures I selected are inspiration for me, especially the last
De Kooning photos, I love the soft colors and strokes of those pieces

I will try to post more of my art as I am making it..... after all that's
why my blog is called "I Art Fashion"

Usually I don't write a lot on my posts, but
this post is important to me
I hope I made sense :)

Kick of Purple

I took these pictures last week for an outfit of the day, but later on 

I didn't like how the boots went with the assemblage, oh how fancy!

Mistake, yea...but there are worst things to fuss about, so

here they are :)

I purchased this jacket a while ago in one

of my thrifting trips

I think it was less then $5

One of my favorites

This new sweater is super comfy

(a thrifted find as well)

It's an XL sweater, but since I'm short

I can just belt it and use it as a dress

Short people perks

My camera decide to blur me out with some cool mystical 

affects, so I though I would share it with you

I'm thinking of a new haircut/new look really

Maybe dye it dark brown and cut it short?

Never Made It

Going through my picture blog folder, I came

across some photos I took in 2012 that never made it in my blog

I had plan to place them in my blog and I would still like to post them

because they have meaning to me

I will be able to look back at them and remember a moment... a time 

in my life, little thoughts come to your mind
